Accountant (Tally and GST)

Job Overview:

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various financial tasks, including managing accounts, recording transactions in Tally, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. Your role will also involve working with MS Excel to perform data analysis and generate reports. We are looking for a candidate with good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Record financial transactions in Tally software and ensure data integrity.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and track cash flow.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance with GST laws.
• Assist with payroll processing and related statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and budgets.
• Utilize MS Excel to analyze financial data and create reports.
• Support the senior accountants with various accounting tasks.
• Stay updated with accounting and tax regulations, especially related to GST.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Tally software and familiarity with GST concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel to handle data analysis and reporting.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
• Freshers are welcome to apply; prior internship or relevant coursework is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Additional certifications or training in Tally and GST.
• Familiarity with other accounting software.
• Understanding of financial statements and their interpretation.
