Application Developer (Android/iOS)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Application Developer specialized in Android and iOS platforms to join our dynamic team. As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications for our company’s products. Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality, user-friendly, and efficient mobile applications that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms using the latest development technologies and frameworks.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to define application requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Conduct thorough analysis of user requirements and propose innovative solutions that enhance the usability, performance, and functionality of the mobile applications.
4. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding best practices and industry standards.
5. Perform comprehensive testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality and bug-free software deliverables.
6. Continuously monitor the performance and stability of the applications, and proactively identify and address any issues or bottlenecks.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile application development, and integrate them into the development process where applicable.
8. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and execute test plans, ensuring proper functionality and performance of the applications.
9. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, addressing their concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
10. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve code quality and adherence to coding standards.
11. Document the application development process, including system design, implementation details, and user guides, to ensure knowledge transfer and ease of maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Proven work experience as an Application Developer, specializing in Android and/or iOS development.
3. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin (for Android) and Swift, Objective-C (for iOS).
4. Strong understanding of mobile application development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and best practices.
5. Experience with mobile development frameworks and technologies such as Android SDK, iOS SDK, Xcode, and Android Studio.
6. Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs for integrating mobile applications with server-side systems.
7. Knowledge of UI/UX principles and ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
8. Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve application issues.
9. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
